Berik Solis Final QT4 Blog Post

The project was to create a invention with our team members, the Smart Glove. We took a bit too long making the project but was at least done around dated due time. Challenges I personally faced was trying to help out my team with stuff like the sketch up animation. I also experience more teamwork than what I normally work with, ui work by myself most times. Overall, I'll say that it was a bit fun to work with others, after all, no was I'll get this done on my own.

I may not have been the most effective member they had, but I did help out with quite a bit. I made the mascot, helped with the video (also filming a behind the scene clip on my phone) and shared effective ideas. Outside of class, I tried to work on projects on my own to help out, wasn't always good though.

Some good things I have that could help out in the future was is that my ideas can become real, has been before. Other examples would be motivation, passion, and knowing about this class. I plan on becoming an animator as a job. I can use improvements on things like website making and my digital artwork.

About this quarter overall, the beat part was taking the video, it got funny sometimes while filming. I wouldn't really change much about how to do the project because I can't think of anything to change. My take away was it will take time, but if spent enough time making an animation, then it should be great. My goal for next year is to just get better at what I'd enjoy, making 3d animations. This has been a good school year, I'll continue to take this class and improve on whatever I can.

OverAll

We made an animation on bouncing balls going up/down and left/right.

This ball Animation was the first one to be made.

The second one and the one I used for the bonus animation.

This was the animation where we got to be more creative with the ball animation.

Web Project

What I did

I made a website for me....sort of. The website isn't going to actually be posted for everyone to see. The site will only be screen shots of it from blogger. Making the website was not that hard, just took awhile that's all. 

How I feel about it

I think that I didn't do too bad, but I did have issues here and there. I'm glad that it's not going to be for everyone to see. 

How I want to use it in the future

I'm going to use YouTube for my own time and make animations for my videos. I'll also be posting my videos on my official website (only when I have a lot of subs). If I am going to use it for an actual job, it'll be used similarly but will depend on quite a bit of things, like the job itself.

My ElevatorPitch

I am from Olathe Northwest High School and I’m currently taking an e9 class which teaches me how to edit videos, make art, and animate.

As me main interest is animation, I want that to be a part of my job. I’ve been practicing since I was in 8^th grade. If I’m going to use that skill for fun, I’m going to do animations for YouTube.

I might do both 2d and 3d animation, it will depend on how good I am at both. I’ve done more with 3d animation, but altogether I should me able to get better.

I will continue to practice on all and will try to take a class like this when I move up a grade. This class is actually this only reason why I’m in this school right now.

My least favorite may be graphic design, but it is still a part of this class I like. I would say that so far video is my favorite but that might change when I get to the animation part.
